DO NOT SHIP RETURNS for EXCHANGES or REFUNDS without first obtaining email
Authorization.
Do this by simply sending an email to sales@hawaiianshirtshop.net. Failure
to do so will definitely delay any refund or response. An address for your return
shipment will be furnished to you when you request the Return or Exchange Authorization.
Please communicate with your ORDER NUMBER. All orders are stored, filed
and sorted by ORDER NUMBER.
WARNING ! Please fold your returned apparel
neatly, as best you can, before you ship it back to Maui. All garments are sent
to you in perfect condition, neatly folded and wrapped in white tissue paper.
The U.S. Post Office offers free, sturdy, large shirt or dress size, Priority
Mail Boxes along with free address labels. The cost for a one pound or less
package is $ 4.05 for this Priority Mail shipment. A Delivery Confirmation is
50 cents and insurance is $ 1.35 for up to $50.00 in value. It is recommended
that you use a box and not a bag or envelope for sending things back to Honolulu.
Some wrinkles and creases are expected, and can not be avoided, but be forewarned,
a $ 7.50 fee, per garment, for steaming and ironing will be deducted from your
refund or exchange if you return apparel that can not be re-sold to someone
else or re-stocked because it is greatly wrinkled, crumpled, unfolded, unbuttoned
and shoved, stuffed, without any care, into a bag, envelope or a box. The $7.50
fee, per garment, will be deducted from your refund or exchange. Returned
garments that have been washed or with stains or soiled in any way will not
be accepted for refund or exchange..
IMPORTANT - Please Read: There is NO re-stocking fee for exchanges. There
is a 15% re-stocking fee for all returned merchandise that is not for an exchange.
The re-stocking fee is automatically deducted from your refund. Returned merchandise
orders sent back for exchanges that have excess credits will be issued merchandise
credits. No cash or credit card refunds can be issued for exchanges. Merchandise
credits can NOT be used for shipping costs.
The EXCHANGE / RETURN process is simple. Return what you don't want, within
30 days, or at least send an email of your intentions within 30 days, of your
original purchase for a refund. Please make a new purchase
for an exchange. No merchandise is set aside in lieu of exchanges.
A new Order Number will be generated automatically. You will select new shipping
charges. Please reference the Order Number of your prior, original purchase,
in the COMMENTS SECTION of your new order form, so the two orders can be matched
up. It is always a pleasure to accept your Return or Exchange. More than likely,
someone else will want what you are returning. All items are hand made in limited
quantities, one at a time, in Honolulu. Demand far exceeds supply most of the
time.
Exchange privileges do not expire. You may exchange for anything. Your credit
card will be charged for all shipping charges as necessary. Excess merchandise
credits do not expire. Refunds can not be issued after 30 days.
There is a 30 day Time Limit for Refunds. After 30
days, No Refunds or Credit Card Refunds, will be issued. Credit Card
Refunds can only be issued to the credit card that was used for the original
transaction. Afer 30 days, only Store Merchandise Credit is available. Store
Merchandise credits do not expire. Merchandise credits CAN NOT be used for shipping
charges.
WARNING ! DO NOT Refuse your Federal Express shipment.
If you do so, you will incur the shipping cost back to Honolulu. This cost is
almost double your original shipping cost. You must obtain written authorization
before shipping anything back to Honolulu. If you refuse a Priority Mail shipment
it will be considered a return. 15% restocking fee will be deducted. Shipping
costs are not refundable. Shipping costs are not negotiable.
Your home environment is Hawaiian Shirts Shop dressing room. You must seriously
consider the exact measurements in the size charts before you make your purchase.
All size measurement charts are accurate for all styles. These size charts are
on ALL pages of ALL listings Size Charts are on each page of every style and
every selection. All size chart measurements are specific to Paradise Found
garments only. You are encouraged to utilize these size charts to avoid exchanges
and returns.
Coupons and Discount Codes are not valid for Exchanges.
If you received something as a GIFT. A proof of purchase must be established.
Hawaiian Shirts Shop requires an order number or proof of purchase to facilitate
an exchange. No refunds are offered for items received as gifts. Please supply
the buyer's email address to locate the original Order Number.
The Garments/s or Sandals, Flip-Flops or Beach Bag must not have been worn,
and must be in Original, New, (Unwashed), condition with all Tags attached to
qualify for any Exchange, Credit or Refund. Shipping
charges can not be refunded. Shipping charges are not negotiable.
Refunds are customarily issued within 3 to 5 work days - Please be patient
- Sometimes it takes a few extra days to wade though the paperwork. You will
receive an email when the refund is issued to your credit card. It simply takes
a few days from the time your returned item/s are unpacked, checked in and received
on Maui before a credit card refund can be issued. This refund transaction will
appear on your credit card statement within two to three days after the refund
is issued. Refunds may take up to ten (10) days or longer if your return arrives
30 days after the initial credit card purchase.
Wrong Item Received: Every now and then, the wrong item can be packed into
a box. Hawaiian Shirts Shop. will refund your U.S. Priorty Mail shipping cost
to ship the wrong item back to Honolulu, Hawaii. Hawaiian Shirts Shop. will
NOT pay UNITED PARCEL SERVICE or FEDERAL EXPRESS charges. Please only use the
United Sates Post Office, (USPS). Ship via U.S. Priority Mail. Obtain a Delivery
Confirmation Number and/or Insurance. The correct item/s will be shipped to
you via 2nd Day Federal Express at no charge to you.
